RHIPO Photography is based in Redmond, and the Eastside is home. Many of the families we photograph live in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland and Sammamish, and their weddings happen here too: at temples and gurdwaras, in hotel ballrooms and banquet halls, at golf clubs and wineries, and in the family backyard.
Hitesh leads every wedding. Because we live and work here, we know how long it takes to get from a morning ceremony in Bothell to a reception in Bellevue on a Saturday, and we plan your day around it.

Weddings across the Eastside
We photograph Indian and South Asian weddings in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bothell and Woodinville, and across Seattle and Washington. The settings vary, and so does the plan:
- Temple and gurdwara ceremonies, where we follow the priest’s or granthi’s guidance on where we can stand and when
- Hotel ballrooms and banquet halls, where a long reception needs both candid coverage and a clear plan for speeches, dances and the entrance
- Golf clubs and wineries, with outdoor portraits timed to the light
- Ceremonies at home, where the mandap stands in the backyard and the guests are close
Many Eastside weddings run across several days and several venues. See our Hindu, Sikh and Telugu wedding pages for how we cover each ceremony.
A Telugu wedding in Redmond
Sagarika and Shiva held their Telugu wedding and their reception in Redmond. The rituals ran late into the evening, ending with Shiva showing Sagarika the Arundhati star under a real night sky.

Even though he wasn’t very familiar with all of them initially, he made a genuine effort to understand what was important to us and capture those special moments beautifully. He was also very helpful beyond photography. He gave us recommendations for catering, food, and other things we needed while planning the wedding.

Planning an Eastside wedding
- Traffic: I-405 and SR-520 can add 30 minutes or more on a weekend afternoon. If your ceremony and reception are in different cities, we build that into the timeline, and into the baraat start time.
- Light: sunset is after 9 pm in late June and before 4:30 pm in December. We plan couple portraits around it, so winter weddings get them before the ceremony or under good indoor light.
- Rain: from October to May, we pick an indoor or covered spot for portraits with you in advance, so a wet afternoon changes the plan, not the photographs.
- Muhurtham: early or late muhurthams are common. Tell us the time when you enquire and we set our arrival around it.

Questions couples ask
- Are you based on the Eastside?
- Yes. RHIPO Photography is based in Redmond, and we photograph weddings across Bellevue, Kirkland, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bothell, Woodinville, Seattle and the rest of Washington.
- Do you charge for travel within Bellevue and Redmond?
- Travel within Seattle and the Pacific Northwest is included in most collections, so an Eastside wedding has no added travel cost in most cases.
- Can you cover a ceremony and a reception in different cities on the same day?
- Yes. We plan the drive between venues into the timeline before the wedding, so we arrive at the reception ready before your entrance.
- Do you photograph weddings at temples and gurdwaras?
- Yes. We have photographed Hindu, Sikh and Telugu ceremonies at temples, gurdwaras and family homes, and we follow each one’s guidance on where we can stand.
- How far ahead should we book?
- We recommend 9 to 12 months, especially for summer weekends and auspicious dates that many Eastside families share.
