A Telugu wedding is timed to the muhurtham, often in the early morning, and the most important moments come quickly: the curtain drops, the Jeelakarra Bellam is placed, and the families lean in. A photographer who has not planned for what comes next will miss it.
RHIPO Photography has photographed Telugu weddings across the Seattle area, from banquet halls to outdoor ceremonies with the whole family gathered on the lawn. Hitesh leads every wedding and goes through the order of rituals with you and your priest beforehand, so nothing important happens behind a camera’s back.
Dates are filling fast for 2026-2027
Every family does it a little differently, and we follow your priest’s order on the day. These are the moments we plan for:
The Jeelakarra Bellam happens at an exact time and lasts seconds. We agree beforehand with your priest and your planner where we will stand, so we are in position before the curtain comes down.
Many Telugu weddings start before sunrise and run into a reception that evening. We build the coverage around that, with arrival times set by the muhurtham and breaks planned around the rituals rather than through them.
For film, the Talambralu and the Appagintalu are the scenes families watch again and again, so we plan exactly where to be for both. See our Indian wedding videographer page for film details.
